Our School Walk 2006
On September 25th 2006 the whole of Presentation Primary went on our school walk. We had been waiting since Wednesday the 20th for the rain to stop.. maybe today was our lucky day! Everybody waited quietly to hear the announcement. There was a burst of excitement when my class heard we were walking to Bushy Park . The walk began at half nine

The Junior Infants walked to Eaton Square and all around the secondary school. Meanwhile the 1st and 2nd classes marched up to the KCR. The 3rd and 4th classes trotted up Greenlea Road and back down Templeogue Road. The 5th and 6th classes had great fun collecting conkers as we walked around Bushy Park. The 6th classes galloped around the football pitches and ran down the hill towards the pond. Even the teachers thoroughly enjoyed the walk!

When we got back to school we got a pack of buttons each and some juice but, best of all, we got a night off homework!
